Pride & Prejudice Tea Dance
Saturday 6th Feburary, 4-7pm
De Grey Rooms, York
Come celebrate the publication date of Pride and Prejudice at this Austen themed afternoon. Step into the elegance of the Regency era and spend an enchanting afternoon surrounded by the beautiful architecture of the De Grey Rooms.
Join us for an afternoon of Regency dancing and a little Austen-inspired magic. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or have never attempted a Regency dance before, Lottie will guide you through every step.
Over supper we welcome Jane Austen herself (Laura Rocklyn), who will take us back in time to reminisce about the events, inspirations and experiences that led to the publication of her second (and arguably most famous) novel.
So dust off your dancing shoes, bring your curiosity, and prepare to spend an afternoon in true Regency style!
A light supper provided in the interval.
Check out last year's Austen Ball!
