Eboracum Early Dance
Would you like to learn about the music, costume and dance of past centuries?
Eboracum Early Dance Group is a new class teaching historical dances from the 11th – 19th Centuries.
This kind of dance is open to all regardless of previous dance experience and is particularly good for those with injuries or other low-mobility.
You don’t need anything to take the class- just a pair of suitable comfy shoes!
New members always welcome!

23rd January, 12-4pm
Two part workshop:
12- 2pm- An opportunity to remotely join the Nonsuch Scottish Dance online workshop. Join me at St Olaves Church Hall as we dance together to celebrate the national poet, Robert Burns near to his birthday. The 2-hour online class will introduce you to some of the historical origins of Scottish dancing! Come and join me to dance along!
2-4pm- Our regularly scheduled session learning some more scottish dances.
£7.50 if you would like to attend both (or feel free to only attend part if preferable)

Special Workshop - 6th March, 12-5pm
Regency dance workshop in preparation for the Harrogate Regency Ball. Open to everyone (even if you're not going to the ball).
The workshop will cover a selection of regency dances and is suitable for beginners as well as those more experienced. No need to bring a partner just suitable comfy shoes for dancing. Tea, coffee and cake will be provided and there are lots of lovely places in York if you need something more substantial.
